Good quality second hand pianos for sale

We are pleased to offer good quality, used upright and grand pianos for sale. Before selling a second hand instrument, a number of important checks are made:​

  • Is the casework clean and undamaged?

  • Is each key level and evenly spaced? 

  • Do keys respond to the touch without sticking?

  • Is the tone consistent from the treble to the bass?

  • Is the action free from knocks or squeaks?

  • Do the pedals work, moving freely and quietly?

  • Is the action clean, free-moving and intact?

  • Are the strings all present, clean and unbroken?

Only when we are satisfied that all these conditions are met will we offer a piano for sale.
